This is a very simple recipe. Marinate the chicken at breakfast time and it will be ready in plenty of time for dinner. You can also use chicken wings but make sure you have plenty because these won't last long with the family.

 ½ cup salt-reduced soy sauce
 ¼ cup honey
 2 cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated
 1 galric clove, crushed
 8 chicken drumsticks
 2 tsp sesame seeds

Combine soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic in a large dish. Add chicken. Turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours, turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Or if you have a Omnia Oven, place on low for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken from marinade. Place, in a single layer, on prepared tray. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve with Fried rice (see related recipe).
